Inquire and Visit Campus
All prospective parents/guardians are required to meet with the Enrollment Director. If you have not yet visited campus or would like more information before applying, please Inquire and Request a Tour, and our Admissions Office will contact you. We hope to see your family at Breakwater soon.
How to Apply
Welcome to the Breakwater Admissions Process! We request that families in all grade levels apply online as it simplifies submission and allows you to track the status of your child's application.
To begin the Online Application process, Create an Account. Upon account creation, you will receive an email with a verification link. Please note that this verification email will take 10 minutes to arrive in your inbox. Once your email address has been verified, log in to your account and Create A New Student Application for your child. You can then log in and out of your account and access your open application until you feel ready to submit it.
A non-refundable fee of $40 must be submitted with each application.
After submitting the application, you can track your admissions status at Breakwater by logging in to your account. In addition, you can print the completed application, monitor when the school receives any applicable supplemental forms, and, if necessary, reprint the forms.

Upon completion of the steps above, the Admissions Committee will meet to review the applicant’s file. Breakwater has designed an admissions process that is thoughtful and purposeful. It is in the best interest of both the child and the school to ensure a good fit in the admissions decision. There are many factors that the Admissions Committee considers when making an admissions decision: available spots, resources, mission alignment, student profiles, and family partnerships need to be included in the decision. For these reasons, the details of admissions decisions are both confidential and final. Admissions decisions are made in compliance with local, federal, and state nondiscrimination laws and regulations without regard to race, gender, color, religion, physical or mental disability, ancestry, socio-economic status, sexual orientation, or national origin.
